1. About Me – With or Without Cracks

Career Path – Becoming Shows the Way

My professional and personal steps have always been guided by curiosity, a spirit of inquiry and pursuing coherence.

Within the scientific field, I have worked, among other roles, as a science communicator at Germany’s largest university hospital in Berlin, helped build a Career Center at Germany’s largest independent research center, and enjoyed the freedom of developing my own coaching practice.

Development also means sensing the subtle, when an insight is not yet fully tangible but already emerging – the inner process of becoming, pointing the way.

To nurture this creative process, I since many years pursue creative writing and contemplative practice.

With or Without Cracks: I want to spark curiosity about the potential of life.

Different life realities, ways of thinking, and work contexts have always been part of my life. With strong roots in the countryside near Heidelberg, I’ve also been shaped by living and working with people in cities like Berlin, Vienna, and New York.

If I were to map my own life, perhaps it would be a map of fractures, each one enriching the landscape behind it.

The heading above the map, following Leonard Cohen:

There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.

4. "To Each Their Own".
This is Mine:

Berlin and New York, cities that have shaped me, embody the spirit of the famous Prussian Edict of Tolerance.

My “edict” in relation to my work? Here are the principles that inform my work.

Inner & Outer Diversity as a Resource

Allowing diversity, difference, and distinct perspectives to coexist – in a team, or within oneself. For me, this is where creative friction and true resourcefulness emerge. And where the invitation lives to meet, listen, and grow – also through productive conflict.

Through the Heart and Body and Back

I value working with expertise while staying connected emotionally – to myself and to the people I work with.
I recognize people also as biological beings. This is why I pursue an integrative, embodied, nervous-system aware approach.

Creativity and Slowing Down

In sensitive or challenging contexts, appreciative slowing down is often needed. It opens the space to notice subtleties and resonance. I am drawn to liminal spaces: where ideas meet, where intuition enters, and new solutions emerge. Creativity becomes effective precisely at these transitions.

Joy & Change in 15-Second Increments

We perceive the world in a window of about 15 seconds. Everything before is memory (distorted terrain) or future (not yet happened).
Only in this moment can effective action, connection, can joy, and learning truly occur.
This is where we meet in coaching.
