This 2-half-day virtual workshop is designed to guide early career researchers in exploring and defining their career directions by integrating cognitive assessments with emotional intelligence and intuitive decision-making.
Researchers often focus on logical and analytical thinking, and this workshop offers a more holistic approach, combining cognitive, emotional, and intuitive methods to guide participants through a comprehensive and personalized career development process.
Workshop Structure
Each day includes 4 hours of interactive sessions with two 15- minute breaks and there is a homework assignment in between sessions.

Day 1 focuses on self-reflection, helping participants explore their interests, values, and guiding principles through tools like career mapping, interest assessments, and vision board creation.

Day 2 transitions to evaluating career options, using cognitive techniques such as SWOT analysis and intuitive decision-making exercises. It ends with practical career planning and time management to help participants prioritize their next steps.

The course can be taken on its own but is also designed to complement other competency-oriented workshops. There won't be too much repetition, as the content is curated to provide unique insights.
